Howard House Surgery Patient Participation Group
The purpose of a PPG is to provide a way in which patients can be involved in the way the Practice operates. The PPG has been just a small group of patients who meet about 5 times a year but this has quite recently been expanded with a larger group of patients who have registered to be involved by email. The group discusses a range of issues, as can be seen in the enclosed previous agendas. Items include: changes in the way the Surgery works, information leaflets, health campaigns, patient surveys, health developments in the area, etc.. We work when we can in collaboration with the Patient Groups of the other three GP Practices in Felixstowe. We publish a Newsletter several times a year (see the other tab on this part of the website). Our meetings are usually held on a Tuesday evening 1800-1930hrs in the Training Room above the Surgery. The meeting is supported by a Doctor from the Practice, the Practice Manager and a member of the Admin team to take the minutes.
The Chair of the PPG is currently Alan Rose who may be contacted by email on HHcomments@gmx.us or put a note in the mail box in the surgery lobby or call the Chair on : 07986-714186
